Quick guide: roach pad in 3 steps

Fold the roach

• Tear one card from the roach pad. If it has perforations, pre-crease along 2–3 of them.
• Make a small “W” (or zig-zag) at one end for structure, then wrap the rest around it into a cylinder.
• Aim for about 6–8 mm diameter: smaller = tighter draw, larger = more airflow.

Fill & shape the paper

• Hold the King Slim (110×36 mm) paper with the gum line up and facing you.
• Place the tip at one end, flush with the paper edge.
• Sprinkle your blend evenly from tip to the other end; don’t cover the gum strip.
• Pinch the paper and rock it back and forth to form a uniform cylinder.

• Starting at the tip end, tuck the non-gummed edge over the filler and the tip, then roll forward with steady, even tension.

• Pack the open end (a pen tip or packing tool works), then twist a small pigtail.
• On first light, rotate gently to set an even cherry; take slow, steady pulls to keep it burning straight.
